Sorry guys, I forgot to change the subject line this week. Excuse the double send!
Harris’s Scripted Victory, Terrorist Retribution, and a Near Miss for Trump
Hi Reader,
This week, we witnessed political theater, justice served in blood, and a near-fatal assassination attempt that barely raised eyebrows. Here’s my raw take on this week’s top headlines—unfiltered and as real as it gets:
The Presidential Debate: Did Harris Really Win?
Everyone’s talking about Kamala Harris “winning” this week’s presidential debate—at least that’s what mainstream media would have you believe. They’re eager to declare her the victor just because she rattled Trump a little, but let’s be real: Did she actually win?
Sure, she pushed Trump’s buttons, and he didn’t exactly deliver a polished response. Pew Research even threw out a number that 47% of Americans are satisfied with their choices this election cycle (up 13% from July).
But here’s the part they’re not telling you—undecided voters, the ones who will swing this election in battleground states, may not share the media’s enthusiasm.
Mark Halperin, a political commentator I respect for thinking outside the box, raised an interesting point: These undecided voters might not agree that Harris “won” at all. Some may have seen it as a draw—or even given Trump the edge. And guess what?
The general public’s opinion isn’t what decides elections—it’s those critical swing states. So while everyone’s busy declaring a winner, I’m paying attention to the voters who really matter.
What do you think? Is the media manufacturing a win for Harris, or did she actually outmaneuver Trump? Drop me a line with your thoughts.
Celebrating a Terrorist’s Death: Am I Wrong?
This week, Israeli Defense Forces killed a terrorist who was directly involved in the sexual assault and trafficking of a young Israeli woman. My first reaction? Relief. Not just relief, though—satisfaction. I wanted this man to suffer for what he did. I hoped his last moments were filled with the pain he inflicted on others.

But here’s the rub: The bible says (Proverbs 24:17) "do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice."
I’m a proud, practicing Jew, but in this case, can anyone really blame me for feeling the way I do? This man’s actions were beyond evil. He desecrated every human value, and yet, I’m supposed to not feel relief when he meets his end?
Let’s be clear: This wasn’t some gray area of guilt. There’s undeniable video evidence proving what he did. I’m conflicted because, on the one hand, I believe in Jewish teachings, but on the other, I felt that he deserved to suffer. Retribution feels right in the face of such clear, undeniable evil.
So what’s your take? Am I wrong to feel this way, or do you share my instinct? And should I even be saying this out loud, or is that part of the problem? Let’s have an honest conversation about this—I’m ready for whatever you throw at me.
9/11: Has America Forgotten?
This past Wednesday marked another 9/11 anniversary, and something about it felt…off. The ceremonies? Rehearsed, predictable, and hollow. It’s as if the true gravity of that day—the pain, the loss, the unity we once felt—has been reduced to an annual routine. Has America really forgotten?

One moment that stood out was a photo from the 9/11 memorial showing Biden, Harris, Trump, and their running mates together. For a brief moment, it symbolized what we should be aiming for: unity, humanity, and respect for each other’s differences. But let’s not kid ourselves—that’s not the reality we live in today.
I recently watched Frank Luntz on Chris Cuomo’s show, where he highlighted one of the few remaining bastions of bipartisanship in America: our armed forces. According to Luntz, they serve with dignity, honor, and unity, despite the polarized world we live in. But how long can that last?
When even a moment like 9/11 becomes just another political prop, it makes you wonder how much longer we can preserve any sense of unity.
Trump Nearly Assassinated—And No One Seems to Care
This should have been front-page news: Another assassination attempt on President Trump, the second in recent memory. This time, the would-be assassin was caught after firing an AK/AR-style weapon with a scope at Trump, who was barely 400 yards away during a press conference.
But here’s the most disturbing part—no one seems to care. The story barely made a blip. Have we become so desensitized to violence that even an assassination attempt on a former president gets swept under the rug?
Think about that. The man who led the free world was nearly killed, and we’re already back to scrolling through Twitter like it’s business as usual.
Are we too addicted to the fast-paced world of notifications, breaking news alerts, and text messages to even pause for something like this?
This should scare all of us. We’ve reached a point where not even an assassination attempt causes us to stop and reflect on the dangerous path we’re on. What’s next?
